What is SolDuel?
SolDuel is a head-to-head trading competition platform built on Solana. Two traders enter. Each one picks tokens they believe will outperform. Both put up real SOL as a wager. A timer starts. When it ends, whoever earned the higher portfolio return wins the entire pot.
Think of it like a 1v1 in a fighting game, except the weapon is your market thesis and the arena is the Solana token ecosystem.
Every wager is held in an on-chain escrow controlled by smart contracts. No third party ever touches your funds. There is no centralized wallet holding your money. The blockchain handles custody, settlement, and payouts automatically. You can verify every transaction on Solscan.
This is not paper trading. This is not a social feed where people post screenshots of gains they may or may not have actually made. When you win on SolDuel, you win real money from a real opponent who thought they could beat you.

How a Battle Works
From creation to payout in four steps. Everything happens on-chain.
Create or Join
You either create a new battle with your chosen wager amount, duration, and token picks, or you browse the lobby and jump into an open battle someone else created. Creating a battle generates a shareable challenge link you can send directly to a friend.
Lock In Your Portfolio
Both players deposit their wager into the on-chain escrow smart contract. You pick up to five Solana tokens and set allocation percentages for each. Once both sides are locked in, the battle timer starts. No edits, no take-backs.
The Clock Runs
While the timer counts down, the platform tracks live price feeds for every token in both portfolios. You can watch your PnL in real time. Your opponent can watch theirs. Spectators can watch both. The lead can flip multiple times before the final bell.
Settlement and Payout
When the timer expires, the smart contract calculates each portfolio's return percentage. The player with the higher return wins the full pot, minus a small platform fee. Funds are transferred automatically by the contract. No manual claims, no waiting.
Why “Trustless” Actually Matters
In most PvP trading platforms, you deposit money into a company's wallet and hope they pay you when you win. That model depends entirely on trusting the operator. If they disappear, your money disappears with them.
SolDuel works differently. When you create or join a battle, your wager goes into an escrow account controlled by a smart contract on the Solana blockchain. Not our wallet. Not our database. A program deployed on-chain that anyone can inspect.
The contract enforces the rules: it holds both wagers during the battle, calculates the winner based on real price data, and transfers the pot to the winner automatically. The outcome cannot be changed. Winnings cannot be withheld. Funds cannot be moved anywhere other than where the contract logic dictates.
You do not have to trust anyone. Just read the code.
