SolDuel is committed to transparency about what data we collect and how we use it. This policy explains the information practices of the Platform. We collect minimal data and do not sell or share your information with third parties.

2. Data We Collect

SolDuel collects the following data:

• Wallet addresses — Your Solana wallet public address is stored when you connect to the Platform. This is your primary identifier.
• Match and wager history — Records of battles and duels you participate in, including token selections, wager amounts, and outcomes.
• Session cookies — JWT-based authentication tokens with a 24-hour expiry, used to maintain your session.

3. Data We Do Not Collect

SolDuel does not collect:

• Personal identifying information (name, email, phone number)
• Private keys or seed phrases
• Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
• Third-party analytics or tracking data
• Advertising cookies or tracking pixels

4. How We Use Your Data

The data we collect is used to:

• Authenticate your session and verify wallet ownership
• Display your profile, match history, and leaderboard rankings
• Facilitate battle and duel creation, matching, and settlement
• Prevent abuse through rate limiting

5. Data Storage

Off-chain data (profiles, match records, session data) is stored securely on our servers. On-chain data (wagers, escrow accounts, settlement transactions) is stored on the Solana blockchain and is publicly accessible by nature.

6. Blockchain Data

All on-chain transactions are public and permanent. This includes wager deposits, settlement transactions, and fund transfers. This data is visible to anyone on the Solana blockchain and cannot be deleted or modified. By using SolDuel, you acknowledge that your on-chain activity is publicly viewable.

7. Cookies

SolDuel uses a single authentication cookie (JWT) to maintain your session. This cookie expires after 24 hours. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies.

8. Data Retention

Match history and profile data are retained as long as the Platform is operational. Session tokens expire after 24 hours. IP addresses used for rate limiting are held in memory only and are not persisted to any database.

9. Your Rights

You can disconnect your wallet at any time to stop using the Platform. Since we do not collect personal identifying information beyond your wallet address, there is minimal data associated with your identity. On-chain transaction data cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of the blockchain.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
